Denmark: the current 10× wagering ceiling
Current Danish player guidance states that wagering requirements cannot exceed ten times. Every game allowed to fulfil the requirement must contribute one hundred percent. These national rules make generic international comparisons unreliable: partial game contribution is not a universal European practice.

- National permission matters more than international branding.
- Check the company, domain and game category together.
- Promotions never override local law or protective measures.
The local distinction that matters
The multiplier still needs a base. A hypothetical 100-kroner deposit and 100-kroner bonus require 1,000 kroner of stakes at ten times bonus only, or 2,000 kroner at ten times deposit plus bonus. The regulator also says winnings obtained in connection with a bonus must not receive their own wagering requirement.
Protection and practical limits
Check the live authority page instead of relying on historical publisher guidance. StopSpillet provides confidential guidance and information about treatment options; ROFUS is the exclusion register. These resources matter more than finishing a promotion when it encourages unwanted play.
A contribution table should fit Danish rules
A translated international bonus page might display twenty-percent table-game contribution and a thirty-times multiplier. Those figures should immediately prompt a local-contract check because the Danish guidance states a ten-times ceiling and full contribution for permitted games. Do not treat the foreign table as harmless supplementary information. Establish whether the page describes another jurisdiction, an outdated offer or an apparent compliance problem.
Keep kroner and the wagering base separate
For a Danish account, preserve the actual currency and distinguish deposit-only, bonus-only and combined bases where relevant to the stated conditions. Converting a kroner example into euros is merely a presentation choice; it does not alter which amount is multiplied. The regulator also distinguishes the promotional amount from winnings generated by it. A second wagering condition on those winnings cannot be assumed acceptable simply because a calculator can multiply it. Save the wording and seek clarification without adding further stakes.
Common questions
May an eligible game count only twenty percent?
Current Danish guidance says games permitted for fulfilment must contribute one hundred percent.
Does ten-times wagering mean ten deposits?
No. It concerns cumulative qualifying stakes against a stated base, not a prescribed number of deposits.
