Account screens for a fictional casino concept: a Crabwin checklist
A fictional UX checklist for showing account and verification screens without claiming that a casino, payment system or customer account exists.

Fictional case study · 26 October 2026
This article treats Crabwin Casino as a fictional interface concept. It does not describe a real operator, real registration, playable gambling or an active verification process. The case study focuses on how mock account screens can remain useful without misleading viewers.
Label the prototype before asking for data
A fictional account flow should never collect identity documents, payment details or passwords. The safest prototype uses invented example data and disables submission. A clear banner should explain that the controls are visual demonstrations and that nothing entered is sent or stored.
Placeholders need the same care. A realistic passport number, card number or home address can be copied or mistaken for a request. Use visibly synthetic values and explain their purpose. If usability testing requires input, keep it local to the test environment and erase it when the session ends.
Do not imply completed checks
Status labels such as verified, approved or payment accepted carry strong meaning. In a fictional concept they should be replaced with labels such as example state or prototype outcome. A green tick may still be used to demonstrate hierarchy, but nearby text must say that no real review took place.
The same rule applies to progress indicators. A sequence of identity, address and payment steps can illustrate navigation. It must not imply that those checks are required by a particular operator or jurisdiction. The page should explain that real requirements depend on the actual service and applicable rules.
Keep jurisdiction and language claims out of the mock-up
Providing several language options does not establish availability in any country. A prototype can demonstrate translated navigation, but it should not show a list of supported markets, local licences or accepted currencies unless those labels are explicitly fictional. Avoid flags that could be read as permission to register.
The project name is linked once as Crabwin Casino.
Publish a self-contained demonstration
A reviewer should be able to understand the page from a saved screenshot. Include the fictional disclosure in the visible interface, the page title, the description and the image alt text. Do not rely on a separate policy page to correct a misleading screen after the fact.
Before release, test that forms cannot submit, external payment actions are absent and no analytics event records sensitive input. Review the copy for claims about customers, approval times, account access or transaction outcomes. A fictional account design can then demonstrate layout and accessibility while remaining honest about what does and does not exist.
